SCHOOL SUPPORT SERVICES
The Registrar’s Office This office maintains the safekeeping of the records of the student. It strictly observes and consciously implements government and school rules regarding the admission requirements, enrolment of academic loads, prerequisites, and requirements, release of students records, transfer of students and their graduation. For foreign students, the Office assesses and submits visa requirements for enrolment. The Office of Student Affairs and Services This Office of the Student Affairs and Services implements the various services concerning institution-wide developmental student activities, student safety and wellbeing, student empowerment, student discipline, placement service, and research. It regulates the operation and existence of the school-wide student organizations, and the use of bulletin boards. It concerns with student discipline, formation, and holistic development of the students. It recommends the sanctions to students who violate the rules and regulations. It serves as the proper venue of communication between the students, parent/guardians, teachers, and administrators. It also monitors the implementation of different student services. Guidance and Counseling Office The Guidance and Counseling Office implements the Guidance and counseling programs and services. This office is in-charged of gathering, analyzing, and interpreting information about students concerns. This information enables the teachers, administrators, and parents of coming-up with appropriate programs, intervention, and assistance that will help the students in terms of personal, social, academic, and career aspects. It also provides proper venue to students to express their issues and concerns trough individual and group counseling, and their group dynamics. The Guidance and Counseling Office provides services like counseling, psychological testing, placement, follow-up, referral, home visit, and research. Information Technology Department The Information Technology Department maintains the internet and other computer services. It sees to it that computer technical softwares and hardwares are at their optimum status. This office maintains students’ academic data base and prepares significant documents pertinent to enrolment process or procedure. Technical Support Group The Technical Support Group is an auxiliary in-charged with the repair and maintenance of the computer, LCD projectors and computer laboratories. They also help in the technical aspects of office work such as encoding of grades, enrolment, production of IDs and other related functions. Accounting Office The Accounting Office is located at the ground floor of the main building. This office is responsible for the processing of account payables and verification of financial record. They serve the students through facilitating fee collection, and inquiries regarding tuition and other fees.
Cashier’s Office This office is in-charge with matters concerning financial statements and billing of the students, employees, and the school. Medical and Dental Services The Institution provides medical and dental services to bonafide students, teaching and non-teaching personnel. Library The school library is located at the third floor of the main building. It has an accession of various volumes of books ranging from general works to history. This library is divided into reserve section wherein all books frequently used by the students and faculty is located; the reference and periodical section wherein the newspapers, magazines, journal, manuals, theses, encyclopedia, atlases, dictionaries, and other reference material are located. The open shelf-system gives free access to the collection of the books, and is open during Monday-Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. School Canteen The school canteen serves healthful and nutritious foods to LOJA community. It also implements “pay-asyou-order” and “self-service” system. Security Services A licensed private security agency is hired to protect and safeguard the institution’s clientele, the administration, faculty and staff, and LOJA property and premises. It implements the policy of “No ID, No Complete Uniform, No Entry” in the campus. These matters are also monitored and supervised by the Student Affairs, Administrators, and Heads of the Department. Dental Clinic It is equipped with modern facilities. The clinic provides quality dental services like oral prophylaxis and other dental-related concerns. The services are available every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 n.n. Medical Clinic The clinic provides adequate and quality medical care programs and services to all bonafide members of LOJA community. Computer Laboratory
The computer laboratory is a cluster of computers that is readily available to bonafide students enrolled in the institution, only for Academic Purpose. It is located at second floor, Encabo Building. All computers offer users access to the internet for research and other course related assignments. Gymnasium The Gymnasium is a large room used for various indoor sports and activity. It is located at the seventh floor of the main building with a capacity of 600 pax. Spacious enough that can also be utilized for other functions such as conferences, lecture or for workshops. Engineering and Physical Facilities Office (EPFO) The office is located at the ground floor, Main Building. The EPFO provides support and protection to school building and the grounds, and all custodial operations. They also work in partnership and collaboration with various offices and render their services for campus events and activities.
ACADEMIC AFFAIRS, RESEARCH, AND COMMUNITY EXTENSION SERVICES General Objectives: To provide the students with the needed total/holistic training/development in their respective areas that shall serve as a strong foundation to become responsible individuals in their pursuit of primary education and service to God and the community. Specific Objectives: 1. To develop a truly human person whose desire for personal growth is tempered with moral and spiritual values; 2. To equip the student with values within a field of specialization in the humanities, natural sciences or the social sciences so that he/she becomes a productive member of his/her community and the nation as a whole; 3. To instill a sense of citizenship by making the student aware of the thrust in the development of Filipino society and his/her potential contribution to his/her development through the practice of his/her profession; 4. To develop an integrated personality able to function adequately in a world marked by rapid scientific, technological, social and environmental changes; 5. To strengthen the sense of responsibility by cultivating values that preserve family unity such as mutual love, respect and fidelity. KEY RESULT AREAS
In line with the goals of LOJA for excellence, professionalism and service, the operation of the institution at the micro level is toward four key result areas (KRA) under the rubric of: (a) quality and excellence, (b) relevance and responsiveness; (c) efficiency and effectiveness, and (d) access and equity as mandated by the Department of Education (DepEd) and the three key result areas of higher education, namely: (1) Instruction; (2) Research and (3) Services. Productivity in any of the three KRAs is the measure of performance in the academic community. At the macro level, the corporate management areas of concern are: (i) Human Resource Development; (ii) Financial Viability; (iii) Quality Graduate Output, and (iv) Effective Marketing of Products and Services. In implementing the system, the pervading management strategy for each of the four CHED thrusts, the key result areas of instruction, research and extension services is shown in a matrix in the table next page.
