Casting On 1. Form a basic slip knot over one needle.

Casting On 1. Loop the yarn around your right index finger and hold in place with right thumb. QuickTimeª and a decompressor are needed to see this picture.

2. With the needle in

the left hand bring the needle under the loop that is wrapped around the right index finger and slide it onto the needle.

Basic Knit Stitch

1. Take a second needle in your right hand and bring the tip under the first loop on the needle in your left hand.

2. Make sure the yarn is strait and then wrap the yarn around the top of the right needle, counterclockwise.

Basic Knit Stitch • Pull yarn through the loop with the right needle and slip the the loop from the left needle to the right needle. QuickTimeª and a decompressor are needed to see this picture.

Binding Off • Knit two stitches, then pull the second stitch overtop of the first stitch and let it drop off the needle. QuickTimeª and a decompressor are needed to see this picture.
