You Will Need • Drill and Bit for hole in top deck & Round File. • Small amount of cloth/duct tape/Insulation tape • Bite Valve (Camel Bak, Platypus, Blackburn etc) • Contact Adhesive (Ados F2/Sellys Kwik Grip or similar) Installation 1. Decide exactly where you want your drink hose to come out of the boat’s rear deck, ensure it isn’t too close to the cockpit as it may get in the way of your paddle when getting in and out of the boat, (about 100-150mm back is usually ideal) Having the hose coming from the back deck allows freedom of movement for the paddler.

2. Carefully Drill hole in desired location (right

side rear of cockpit?). Start small and make larger until the rubber grommet fits snug in the hole and the drink hose can be pushed through this. (Better tight than loose). A round file can help achieve the correct size easily.

3. Press the bladder cap/hose end onto bladder and sit in hull with cap and hose on top. 4. Slide Velcro/foam attachment block onto hose.

5. Attach the three strips of loop Velcro to the top front of your buoyancy vest to form a panel to attach the Velcro/foam block and hose to.

6. Sit in boat wearing buoyancy vest and attach

hose to Velcro panel on your vest, attach bite valve to the end of the hose using the zip tie and a small amount of duct tape.

7. Slide hose through block so that the bite valve and hose is within reach of your mouth without having to strain, it should sit at about chin level.

8. Once Velcro block, bite valve and hose is in the

desired position, wrap insulation/cloth/duct tape around the hose above the Velcro block so the hose doesn’t slip down out of reach of your mouth. You can wrap the hose above the Velcro block with insulation tape to stiffen up the hose, helping it sit in the desired position easier.

9. Once desired length is set, to stop more hose than needed being exposed and pulled out of the top deck of the boat wrap some cloth/duct tape around the hose in the set position on the inside of the boat by the outlet hole. Ensure all air is sucked out of the bladders when they are in boat before use. Your drink system is now ready to use. When not in use simply pull the hose through hole in top deck, so only the Velcro block and hose end is exposed.

Care Rinse bladder well with water after use, store in the freezer to prevent it going all mouldy and yucky! Removing cap/hose from bladder by gripping bladder opening and cap firmly and with a twisting and pulling motion remove, be careful not to pull hose from cap.
