Canadian Chair, 2007 Georgia Basin Puget Sound Conference, July 2006 - July 2007 The premier conference focused on the transboundary Salish Sea ecosystem. A four-day international conference with a $500K budget, 1000 delegates, 500 presenters. Responsible for organization and delivery. Manager, Sustainable Communities, BC Min. of Environment, June 2005 - June 2006 As advisor to the Deputy Minister for the development of the new Sustainable Communities Initiative, responsibilities included: developing networks with external and internal stakeholders, drafting concept papers and cabinet submissions and managing contracts supplemental to inhouse analysis. Also proposed, planned and delivered the “Business Engagement Forum” as part of the United Nations World Urban Forum.
