Homework Helpers: The kids need our help! Tutor local students in subjects ranging from social studies to math. Help children with their homework and inspire them! (MONDAY NIGHT FROM 1800-2000, LAST DAY 8 JUNE, THEN SUMMER VACATION) Feeding America San Diego: We will be sorting and stocking the food bank to make sure our local San Diegans in need are fed. (THURSDAY, 11 JUNE AND 25 JUNE 1800-2000) KIDS ARE WELCOME AGES 6 AND UP. PLEASE INFORM US IF YOU ARE BRINGING A CHILD. (40 VOLUNTEERS MAX)

National Trails Day: Los Penasquitos Canyon Preserve. Come help us keep hiking trails clear and clean. After we work, we will be treated to a 6 catered lunch and live music! (SATURDAY, 6 JUNE 0900-1500, 40 Los Penasquitos VOLUNTEERS MAX) Canyon NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) Reunion at Balboa Hospital: Every 0900-1500 year, the ASYMCA’S Balboa Medical Center Program hosts a reunion of former patients of the Neo-natal Intensive Care Unit at NMCSD. Help is 13 needed setting up and working at this fun carnival style event. Help with NICU Reunion games and activities. (SATURDAY, 13 JUNE 0730-1500) FREE LUNCH At Balboa INCLUDED. San Diego Crime Victims Oak Garden: The Oak Garden is a memorial to victims of violent crime in San Diego. Volunteer to help maintain memorials 20 and other projects in the garden. (SATURDAY, 20 JUNE, 0900-1400) FREE Crime Victims LUNCH PROVIDED!!! (25 VOLUNTEERS MAX.) Oak Garden 0900-1400

Food Bank Distribution: We have partnered up with the San Diego Food Bank! Volunteers needed for unloading food from a semi-truck for hundreds of families for a free food giveaway. Also needed for set up. Permission needed from your command as it is on a work day. (THURSDAY, 25 JUNE 0800-1000) (20 VOLUNTEERS MAX)

Pacific Beacon Christmas You Missed: Every year, the ASYMCA throws a big party for Sports Day the families that were deployed during Christmas last year. There are 1200-1500

WE CAN GIVE YOU A FREE RIDE TO EVENTS! CALL US

snow machines, presents, live trees to decorate and even Santa! Last year, this party was held for about 350 people! We need help breaking down after the party. (THURSDAY, 25 JUNE 0900-1100) (40 VOLUNTEERS MAX) MUST HAVE OWN TRANSPORTATION. FREE PIZZA LUNCH!
