To say “I will receive …” use もらう. Say what it is you will receive followed by を. To say who it is you receive it from, use either から or に. 例: I got a pencil.
鉛筆をもらった。
To say “I will have someone do …” (lit. “I will receive someone’s doing of…”) use -てもらう. か
林君にテキストを貸してもらった。
I had Hayashi lend me his book.
!!!This cannot be used for you doing things for other people. Note: The polite version of もらう is いただく/いただきます. 次の文章を、「もらう・-てもらう」を使って日本語で書きなさい: 1. I got some new shoes from my friend yesterday.
