The Movement of Adventist Students—Adventists Ministry to College and University Students continued their mission in bringing the word of God to every school they may be. It is a long way to go for the accomplishment of God’s work but as we increase in number then this ministry can changed more lives. As a MAS-AMICUS we represent God to people who have only known Him by name. We should be grateful that we were called to serve the Lord. It is an opportunity to make our families, relatives and friends to draw nearer to God. It is not only through the words that we speak that will make them open their hearts and minds for the truths but it is our character who will prove that we are true Christian. Let us make ourselves an example of how beautiful our life could be with Jesus Christ . We know missionary works are very important. Our service and participation in the work of God is not

for the near coming of the redeemer. This ministry is a passage for people to see, to hear, to speak and to believe the truth about Christ.
As the journey of being a missionary goes on, no one must give up even if it is hard, even if it will cost our life because this is our purpose. You may face hard battles but never surrender in serving the Lord be brave and always take a step forward for the Lord is with us and will guide us all through the way.
As a servant of Jesus many trials and struggles will come along the way. Our life will not be so easy, many will go against us, many will make

Being a Missionary By: Merushelle Terrano
The ministry is a genuine missionary work. As a student being a missionary is a precious opportunity to serve God by ministering others, it is an effective way of spreading God’s word. Missionary is the most important thing to do, however it is quite difficult to overcome because it is full of process. Nevertheless, it is a great privileged to be a good example for others in revealing the characteristic of Jesus Christ. And it is a big responsibility to serve God as my great commission. I never thought that being a missionary is more about serving others, until I came to realize that it is also a mission to my own self in order for me to become ready to be His instrument.
God give me courage to be His faithful servant and to become acquainted to His work. Though there are some trials along the way, I know that God will help me and will be at my side until I overcome it. Those trials will serve as an experience in order for me to understand the true meaning of this life and the purpose of my existence. I believe that God made wonderful works on my life because despite of the suffering I am still able to serve Him. He wants me to transform into the character likeness of Him and make my life different from others. God help me to learn to rise again after the fall and He let me shine even brighter than before so that others will see the light that is within me. Because of that light, I am able to help others along on their journey because now they will see clearly the truth about Christ,
I thank God for the opportunity that He uses my mouth to voice out the truth throughout the environment and while exalting His precious name. God let me experience hardships to recognize Him more. I feel so great to witness His wonderful love, to appreciate His works and the discernment of the true happiness. I find out how sweet those trials and struggles are, knowing there is Jesus behind you and will never leave you. These things help me to draw nearer to Him. With the thought that there are circumstances as I pursue this mission, but I always believe that prayer is the best way in resolving these problems because I have my God that will never let me down whenever I need Him. In Him my heart find rests and a dwelling place.

The Bible seminar is entitled “ Hermeneutical Approaches To Bible Exploration “ and was held at the function house of the said school. The seminar is one week long and was started last April 2228, 2018 from 6:00pm-8:00pm with the theme song “Thy Word”. The speaker for the said seminar was Pastor Alberto Canete. Almost every night the event was attended by a hundred of students. ..because though we are all busy but we can find time to have devotional everyday. Our Sundown Worship were held inside the classroom and we are just doing it every first Friday of the month and as you can see we are not that many but we are still happy because we always feel the Lord’s presence within us. We have also a recreational activity which we do every Sunday, we jog around the campus for a few times in order for us to be healthy. In behalf of the INCHS Chapter I am very thankful to the IC Chapter and Naawan Chapter for their support because they come and join us in our activity. We are very much blessed to have these people. The Mindanao State University—Naawan Chapter were still very active in doing their part as Christ’s soldier. As of 2018-2019 the members of this chapter are increasing. There are more students joined this organization which is a good sign because many will be working for the fulfillment of Christ's works. These pictures are just some of the proof that they are really living their life as an example of a true believer of Christ. Naawan Chapter always do their devotional before having an activity. There were times that their devotional or Sundown Worship are held inside the campus because the Naawan SDA Church is under renovation but as of today the Naawan church is available for their use. They have also a recreational activity which is done every Sunday morning before the sun rises. They jog around the campus field, play Basketball, Lawn Tennis , Soccer, Volleyball and many others. The purpose of this activity is to encourage everyone to be physically fit .
Naawan Chapter also visited different churches since most of the members are officers of the WMOD. They always make a good impression to every church they visited. Also, before the Campus Evangelism, they conducted a prayer marathon for the said event. Hoping that whatever the needs of the event especially in terms of financial needs and the availability of the speaker will be granted by the Lord and yes it was, God provided them with more than of the things they needed. There are still plenty of activities done by this chapter not just only what I’ve mentioned above but the most important is they remain faithful in God even if they face difficulties, they continue to do God’s work despite of their other responsibility which is being a student, they invested their time and effort to their duties as a student missionary and most of all they live as a family, a brother and a sister as ONE. May this chapter prosper and enlighten more souls for the Lord’s coming is near. -Janice Balabat (Publication Officer-Naawan Chapter)

We do recreational activity with the INCHS chapter and we also donate blood together with INCHS SDA students last Sunday March 3, 2019 at Initao SDA church. We also do serenade if there were birthdays or even at the funeral. A New Life with GOD By: Rayjoemar Nayve
By: Leyan Lomondaya Many days after I was baptized, my friend and I decided to go to the MSU—Naawan campus oval. The weather that day is so wonderful, it is near sunset and the fresh sea breeze is blowing gently. We stand in the side of the field and watch the Frisbee players practicing the game. My friend and I talk about what we have learned from the Bible including the doctrines that each od our churches stand on. A few moments later, many students were gathering near us after that we decided to share God and His son Jesus Christ to them. Since it was my first time, as I walk towards them my legs were shaking and as I spoke my voice is trembling but despite of the situation I challenge myself voice out the wonderful things Jesus has done for us. I will always remember that day because it was my very first time to introduce God to strangers. It’s wonderful to let people know how deep is the love of God for us. That experience gives an overwhelming feeling deep inside. It makes me want to share more. I wanted other students to be blessed by God’s word like what I have experience. I wanted them to really understand about God, to what God wanted us to do and for them to be prepared for God’s coming and be given eternity with God. As my eagerness to serve the Lord overflows, struggles in a students life comes in. I know I had other duties to perform that is why sometimes I have no time left to go to the oval and to share Jesus again. My time is limited, as my responsibility as a student widened but I never forgotten the happiness of sharing Christ. As of now, I am involved in a care group here at Naawan and I also participated in our Bible Training. Through that events, my faith deepens and my spirit grows because Christ live within me. I also read some Ellen G. White’s book so that I will be inspired day by day. I really wanted to preach but I’m not equipped yet and hoping that time will come that I will be an effective preacher because I wanted that not a few will be save but all of us. If it is God’s will that I will an instrument for Him then I will obey. I know that my sins were red as scarlet, but God promised that if I’m going to turn my back from evil doing He will washed me as white as a snow. Every day I’m striving to become a living Bible for others to read. I wanted to lead a Christian life that could inspire others. I do really seek God’s guidance for everything that I may live this life in accordance with His will. My conversion really change me. It will be an honor for my part to become His faithful servant and I will be glad to be His instrument by His means of reaching others. Thy will be done, Oh Lord. Send me to wherever You want me to be, I am willing to obey.
Keeping of a Sabbath is a sign of loyalty Christ is at this moment addressing you personally The fourth command is the test that God has given As the tree of knowledge was the test of obedience Without Bible, history, geology can prove nothing Believe God's word, not human reasoning The precious word of God is a solid foundation To be Christ like in character, in words and in action Let all awake for the time is at hand Even nature obeys divine commands This is the science of true holiness For obedience results in great happiness
Devotional News By: Renagen Opema The Seventh Day Adventist young people has recently just started a weekly devotional activity- specifically a twice a week fellowship with the Lord. They are actually encouraging the first year students to join and participate in learning the word of God. In every Monday and Thursday, 5 o`clock in the afternoon. Hence, the gathering place within the campus grounds (oval). The devotional activity is said to enlighten the youth with the words that the Lord is intended them to hear, so as to grow spiritually mature in God`s insight and to eventually walk in faith and not by sight. Furthermore, this activity is an opportunity for them to wear on the armory of salvation and develop a more deeper and intimate personal relationship with the Lord. Through this, young people are guided with ways that would lead them to walk in the light- the light of divine grace and heavenly wisdom. Moreover, the act of participating is a kind of stepping-in in the Lord`s kingdom with the singing of an angel and loud trumpet where the Lord is delighted in seeing His son and daughters walking towards Him. Indeed, this activity is a two -way benefit, a benefit to the youth as well as to give glory to the Lord. Generally, this would help the youth sharpen their wisdom and designed as a God-molded person.

“Quality Time Together” By: Rayjoemar Nayve
Seventh-Day Adventists’ life will not be as joyful without spending time together. That’s why, as students, Mas Amicus Naawan Chapter has an allotted time together on some Sundays, together with our foster parent, sir Ron Gulfan. Usually we set our alarm at Four o’clock on Sunday morning, and off we go to the MSUN campus field. Some will be playing tennis, some will be playing basketball and some will warm themselves up through jogging. Of course, after we gathered up, before all of the playing and jogging, a day will not be complete without a morning worship. Through a mobile phone, we will read the daily devotionals written by Ellen G. White, just like the usual worship. We will be having an opening song, opening prayer, then the message, the bible reading, closing song and closing prayer. Praising God and implanting His messages in our heart before we joyously spend the day. Most of us, after the worship, will have a round in the oval, jogging. And some, having enough warm up will play basketball, and some will go to the tennis court. The laughter is always there, the joy of Christ’s companionship is centered in our heart, forgetting the burdens of the world. Admiring the beauty of the day, the perfect weather and enjoying the wonderful creations of God through the nature. The cold morning turns into a warm, lively one. The healthy bonds, the love for each other, the sense of humor, the guidance of God combined together in one friendship.
My Testimony By: Misha Carmae Dagangon
Yes, I believe in God. I am a product of a both SDA parents. I grew up surrounded by people who believes God and fears God as well. I grew up full of learnings about His commandments and what He did for me just to be saved. I remember how I sung worship songs at church when I was still at my young age. I remember how I did everything I could just for my father to let me join campings. And, I remember how excited I am during Sabbath day. Those times, talking meaningless words was really out of my vocabulary. I'm too young to commit intentional sins. However, time flies so fast that I did not notice how things
Surely, we have to enjoy our time with our companions in Christ. It’s like a day for friendship, with God. Each of us will do enough exercise, stretching our bodies, setting them in good conditions. Some of us will go to the boardinghouse first to prepare for our breakfast. Chipping-in, to accumulate enough budget for the planned foods to be served. We know, that this kind of Sundays will not last. There’s time for everything, whether it would be a beginning or an ending of something. That’s why we exert an effort to wake up this early, to do the exercise and to play a sport together because we don’t want to regret not getting ourselves involve in an activity an Adventists should have. And years from now, we will be reminiscing these beautiful memories we had spent together. This will inspire us to continue moving forward, because we know, even if we part, our brothers and sisters will always remember the quality time God has given us. The benefits of exercise, the joy of friendship and the deeper understanding of God’s love is what this Sunday bonding gave us. A way of comforting each other, by giving smile in our brothers and sisters’ faces. We believe that physically conditioned individual, we will have more opportunities to serve God, and be His instrument of reaching those who are not yet in His field. “Alone we are weak, but together, and with God’s guidance, no giant we cannot defeat.”
turned out the way it shouldn't be. Everything started during my 8th grade in high school when a quiet unexpected problem happen to drive up to our family. During those times, I'm far too naive to understand things and too young to accept the reality. I started doing things which I thought could help me forgot things and just escape from reality. But sadly, those things slowly pushed me to become a person I never wanted to be. For more than five years, I lived a life I wished it didn't happened. I started ruining God's temple. I started asking Him why that some of the times resulted into questioning His existence. Sometimes I woke up crying and wish I never been born. But God has a pretty unique purpose for me. He sent me here to fulfill His plan intended just for me. He placed me away far from my comfort zone and met people whom I never
thought would help me see things differently and live my life the way God wanted me to be. Indeed, MAS-AMiCUS truly played a very great part in my life. They serves as my older brothers and sisters in Christ! They helped me understand why God allowed misery to happen in my life. And most of all, my MAS-AMiCUS family trained me to become a better person. A person who stands firm amidst this sinful world and a person who believes that everything happens according to the will of God (Jeremiah 29:11)

Janice Balabat WMOD Publication Committee Head
I know you have been into different stuggles, problems and challenges in life but always remember that we have a God who is greater than anything. We have no more time to lose because we never knew how soon is the coming of the Lord. Our duties is not yet finished and yet we are given heavy loads for us to be weak but as a soldier of Christ we must not surrender. Our thoughts must be centered upon God and make effort to
overcome the evils as they tempted us to turn back. Our faith must be bigger than our fears because everything we been through today will pass but the closing of probation could not be delayed and it is a big challenge on how are we going to take part for the fulfillment of Christ work. Remember that only by overcoming what Christ overcame shall we win that crown of life.
