Jacob 1

Jacob‟s learning intention was “I am going to the blocks”. Before going to the blocks, Jacob wrote down his sentence. He used some words around the room to help him to spell. For example, to write „going‟ Jacob could find the word „go‟ on the back of the door and „ing‟ on the King of Ing crown. He had a go at writing blocks. With some assistance from Tammie and the alphabet chart seen in the photo, Jacob made a good attempt.

Jacob then had to design the castle he intended to build once at the construction centre. His design looks very much like the actual castle he constructed.
