Dear Sir Madam Re: Gavin Harper I have known Gavin Harper for 3 years now. We first met on an MSc course in Architecture: Advanced Environment and Energy Studies, run jointly by UEL and CAT, where I was teaching Rammed Earth construction and Gavin was a student. In those 3 years, Gavin has demonstrated to one and all his ability to grasp energy concepts, analyse them and find solutions in a way that is never less than surprising and impressive. In the last year my company has been involved in the installation of 2 renewable energy systems designed to capture rainwater at ground level and irrigate a garden 3-4 storeys up. Gavin has consulted extensively for me on both projects and is always willing to get his hands dirty and suggest improvements to the system. Without his help, we could not have completed these projects. In short, I would recommend Gavin to anyone, and for anything, that he chose to put his mind and considerable talents to.
