ISO (International Organization for Standardization) is a network of standards institutes from 159 countries with a central office in Geneva, Switzerland, that coordinates the system.

ISO 9000 Family 



The ISO 9000 Family is a series of documents that define requirements for the Quality Management System Standard ISO 9000:2005 Quality management systems – Fundamentals and vocabulary describes fundamentals of quality management systems, which form the subject of the ISO 9000 family, and defines related terms.

ISO 9001:2008 



ISO 9001:2008 Quality management systems – Requirements is intended for use in any organization regardless of size, type or product (including service). It provides a number of requirements which an organization needs to fulfill to achieve customer satisfaction through consistent products and services which meet customer expectations.
