Security of users on the Internet is crucial aspect what Internet system should be able to provide. Security of users means security of data provided and transfered as well as security of Internet content.

Security of users´s data Security of users ´s data are provided by technological functions and commands of programming source code and protocols such as HTTPS (HyperText Transfer Protocol Secure - A secure version of HTTP which encrypts data).

programming languages - such as PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor - a server-side, cross-platform, HTML embedded scripting language). The content of the website page can be held by the copyright law ehich also helps to present information on the Internet with smaller chance of legal malice.

2. Risk Analysis for business 2.1. Easy competitive analysis Disadvantages (Risks) Internet as an absolutely open medium enables to make research, to compare, to test and move almost unseeable (there is the aspect of IP address uniquity, but the address is used without real name and identity of the user). The risk of eBusiness solution is the possibility that all competitors will research and test the company and its products and services. Solution

Page 6

The risk of loose unique selling proposition based on insufficient security of business data provided in Internet can be also advantage used by the business to target the competitors with in-depth research and competitive analysis. The business on the Internet is opened from both sides, of the provider as well as from the competitor, and only sufficient business effort ensures that Internet will be the useful medium of the business. ¨

2.2. Change of customers´s view towards the company Disadvantages (Risks) Customers are getting used to see Internet as a medium where there is every information to found or to store. The business has to be aware of risk not to be present on the Internet. It is risk ob the business name seen by the customers as well as the disadvantage of ignoring developing media widely used to attract new customers as well as sell products to the current customers.

Solution The Internet marketing is specialized form of marketing specialized to the Internet area and specifics of the worldwide technological medium. Businesses which are aware of importance of Internet marketing have clear advantage on the Internet upon their competitors.

2.3.Change of shopping habbits to less profitable products Risks Internet enables to provide products and services offerings in almost any time, on any place in minimal time. The supply chain using Internet and B2C online selling enables to offer products more effectively with high response on fast changes of the markets. Ther risk of this aspect is that business can be in great disadvantage if it is not able to respond on changes of market at least as fast as its competition. Page 7

3. Address issues of future developments, particularly in mobile technology and compare the costs and benefits of mobile technology versus Internet 3.1. web 2.0 What is it Web 2.0 is a term, used to the new generation of Internet that has different preferences of the Internet so far. The main characteristics are according to O ´Reilly, 2005: participation, interactivity and controlling by users.

The descritpion of chosen main factors is followed:

controlling web The core of the web 2.0 is controlling the web content and behaviour by the user. The user can participate on the projects via Internet, the user can upload videos on Internet or control the particular functions on the website.

mobile technology The huge and fast development in mobile technology enables the Internet to enter to the mobile devices without borders created by insufficient internet connection speed or insufficient technological equipment of the mobile device. The user can pay with the online banking gateway, upload photos and videos or read news via the PDAs (pocket personal computers), cellular phones or small laptops. The electronical office is getting to be mobile as well as the mobile devices is getting to be comparable with the classical PCs or laptops.

video The world-wide increase of internet connection speed with broadband connection as well as fast wireless connections enables users to use video Page 9

where there is not been possible so far because of the large data demands. Video, which can be used on Internet in similar way as a TV, is getting to be popular by the eBusinesses as well as the online customers. The possibility of video transffered online created the new area of marketing – viral marketing, which is the new form of advertising that propagates itself using the function of automatic redirect from the stream to the business presentation or product presentation. The viral marketing strengths branding as well as the direct presenting of products.

how it affects customers The customer is the presence have new oppurtunity how to use the Internet in the way they want. They can control information that is showed to them and they dont have to be disturbed by too many useless information. The users can also effectively communicate and share opinions as well as data. The Internet is getting more open to the common users.

how it affects business The new technological development enables the businesses to provide and offer products and servicess in more effective way with new oppurtunities how to reach specific targeted customers. The disadvantage can be seen in a the discussing of transaprency of internet and data stored publicaly on the internet.

3.2. Future of Internet Technological progress as well as raising number of internet users will enable, in my opinion, to implement Internet to the areas of organising, controlling and communicationg where has not been possible so far. It can be expected, that Internet technology will be used widely to systematic control of public

Page 10

transportation as well as bidding or using personal ID (electronical signature) instead of hand-written one.

example of new elements iTV – Internet interactive TV is a new element of Internet which is seen today as a medium of future whoch enables to user to control interactively and live the broadcasting and enables the TV provider to target the content to the specific customers.

4. Discuss how HTML has affected e-business – how would your business be established if HTML would not have been invented? 4.1. What is HTML HTML is stand for HyperText Mark-up Language. It is programming source code based on tags which are written and structured by rules given by definiton of the language. HTML is the publishing language of the World Wide Web, according to the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) which is independent governing body for web standards.

4.2. Purpose and affects of HTML HTML is the essential basic elements of every website. There would be no content on the Internet without HTML. HTML enables to publish on the Internet.

4.3. HTML today HTML has been developed and there has been designed many preferences innovating the functions used on the websites. HTML is used today in new generation called XHTML (eXtensive HTML) based on particular functions of XML (eXtensive Markup Language) programming code. Page 11

4.4. HTML in future XHTML programming language has been still developed and converted to XML on long-term basis. The XML language has many new functions and possibilities to use which are not available in the XHTML form of language. But the direct impact on website depends also on compatibility of internet browsers.

5. Identify future trends as for supply chain issues and compare to the traditional channel management 5.1. On-line supply chain

Online supply chain has new elements not available on the classical supply chain, which are in instance: offering products which are not on the warehouse of the provider or delivery of the products online (eg. new industry of selling the music online in MP3 format). New trends can be seen in the progress of CRM (Customer Relationshio Marketing) which enables to the business to automatically edit the efferings to the preferences of the customer and deliver to the customer in the way which is the fastest and most cost-effective. The online market also enables to provide huge ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems used for communicating, buying and selling products B2B in the fast and simple form with focust to the transparency.

6. Address issues of internationality which was achieved through the Internet and assess how this will affect your e-business – will you have more or less clients, will you need to identify new segments, will you have increased or less marketing costs? 6.1.eMarket description (segments, internationality, techological aspect)

Page 12

eMarkets are opened theoretically to the most users of Internet on the world. But the access to the market does not mean essentially the possibility to buy or sell on the market. There are many features which shapes the eMarket and eBusiness solution to the form which corresponds with the business and marketing focus. The eBusiness is affected of the internationality of access but it does not have to be affected by the internationality in the way of business strategy.

The process of segmentation, targeting and positioning is on the Internet affected by the fact, that the users can be everywhere when they use the eBusiness solution. The choice of segments which not depends on physical position gives the advantage to reach new customers but also it gives the disadvantage that customers can be attracted by the offerings of the companies which are physically far from there, but more attractive with their products.

eCommerce gives great new oppurtunities to adapt pricing strategy interactively to the current records from warehouses as well as to the current demand. Advertising is also touched by the Internet very much. Internet advertising brings new oppurtunity to communicate the product interactively and with high focus to the customers´ needs for information (Pay-Per-Click advertising system).

CONCLUSION Internet as a medium of today´s world is essntial part of every business which is aware of the importance to be seen on the Internet as well as to be active part of the business on the Internet. New trendsa and technological progress brings new oppurtunity to sell on Internet. There is constantly rising number of internet users and new market s created using the specifics of the Internet.
