The CREATIVE DUBLIN ALLIANCE is a network of diverse leaders.

A collaboration between… the Dublin Local Authorities, Universities, State Agencies, Business and the Not-for-Profit sector.

Our purpose is to help identify, discuss, recommend, distribute and implement solutions in response to the challenges that Dublin faces as an International Competitive City Region.

CREATE A CLEAR VISION THAT UNIFIES AROUND THE STRENGTHS AND FUTURE POTENTIAL OF DUBLIN CITY REGION.

BUILD A DUBLIN REGION THAT IS SUPPORTIVE OF ITS PEOPLE BY ENCOURAGING INNOVATION AND ENTERPRISE.

CONTINUE TO GROW AN INTERNATIONALLY RENOWNED HIGHER EDUCATION AND RESEARCH SECTOR.

COMMUNICATE, SHOW AND ENGAGE PEOPLE IN THE VARIETY OF ENTREPRENEURIAL INITIATIVES THAT ARE OCCURRING IN DUBLIN CITY REGION.

ENCOURAGE AN OPEN, MERIT BASED, TOLERANT AND INCLUSIVE SOCIETY THAT PROMOTES WELLBEING.

DEVELOP A HIGH QUALITY INFORMATION, COMMUNICATIONS AND TRANSPORT NETWORK.

Innovation Dublin: A week of public events showcasing innovation and creativity in Dublin from October 14th to 20th 2009.

Economic Action Plan: An Economic Action Plan for the Dublin City Region.

Designing Dublin: A design-led initiative that engages individuals through collaboration and entrepreneurship to find solutions to Dublin’s future challenges.

UniverCities: An initiative to align teaching and research programmes in universities to assist in managing and planning for the future of Dublin.

Innovation Alliance: A Trinity-UCD project to develop Innovation as the third arm of the University sector, along with Education and Research, with identified outputs in job creation and enterprise.

Branding the City Region: A strategy to brand Dublin as an internationally competitive and creative city that attracts investment and talent.

Network Mapping: A mapping project to identify and capture the formal and informal crossagency / cross-sectoral alliances and linkages that exist across key players in Dublin.

Citizenship/Public Consultation: A multi-platform project to engage Dubliners in contributing to their city via discussion forums events, web presence, and project initiatives.

Our structure is distributed.

We believe that by unifying resources, working on projects that solve our City Region challenges and delivering on these projects, that we can place Dublin as an creative and influential International City Region.
