Dear Parents, Hello! My name is Kristen Darmafall and I am your child’s new student teacher for this semester. I am very excited to be working with Mrs. Nettles, Mrs. Driggers, and your child. I know that this opportunity will be a learning experience for all of us. I cannot wait to learn a little bit about you and your child throughout this journey. I would love for you to know a little bit about me as well. I am currently a senior at Francis Marion University, in which I am pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education. This experience is the last step that I have to take before graduating in May. I have currently been in your child’s classroom for the past few weeks getting to know them and observing the classroom. They are so sweet to me and have made me feel so welcome already. I am ecstatic about being at Dewey L. Carter, but even more thrilled about being in this class. This semester will be a mixture of fun and learning. Your child has helped me to already see that Kindergarten is the place to be this semester! Starting this week, I will begin teaching! I will be working with Mrs. Nettles and Mrs. Driggers until the beginning of April. I am looking forward to getting to know you and your child in the upcoming weeks. We will have many great experiences to learn and grow in the days ahead. I look forward to meeting you! Sincerely,
Ms. Darmafall
