Earth Conservation Corps (ECC) Anacostia River Park (work site TBD)

• Join area youth groups in a split project to pick up trash along the Anacostia River or for light landscaping to prepare a family park area at a local shelter. Following service, groups will reunite for lunch and dialogue. • 40 youth needed

All Dulles Area Muslim Society (ADAMS)

B’nai B’rith Homecrest House

• Join members of the ADAMS youth group to prepare lunches for area homeless shelters. Following service, volunteers will gather for an outdoor lunch to discuss plans for an interfaith community garden and Peace Trail • 20 youth needed

• Participate in "Green" initiatives at this retirement home for active seniors with limited income. Projects include a CFL light-bulb exchange and garden/ greenhouse clean-up at this retirement home for low income. Volunteers are invited to stay for a party with the residents. • 20 youth needed
