INPUT DEVICES

When data is entered into the computer system, it is called an input. Input comes in various forms; text, graphics, audio and video. Input devices are needed to input data into the computer system

Input Device is any hardware component that allow you to enter data and instruction into a computer.

• Contain keys that you can press to enter data into the computer. • Many kind of keyboard. E.g. Ergonomic Keyboard

INPUT DEVICE FOR GRAPHIC • With scanner, pictures can be convert into printed material ( such as text and pictures ) into a form the computer can use

INPUT DEVICE FOR AUDIO

Allow user to speak into the computer to enter data and instructions.

INPUT DEVICE FOR VIDEO

A PC Video Camera is a digital video camera that allows user to create a movie or take still photographs electronically.

HOMEWORK Your homework must be submit to your class monitor on Monday ( 17th April 2006 ) before 10 a.m REMEMBER! Do it on your own. Any duplicate work will be rejected and as a result, you have to do it again. Save your project in a diskette or cd.
