Invitation from Organizing Committee We take great pleasure in inviting you all for the Indian Head & Neck Cancer Congress-2009, the 9th annual meeting of the Foundation to be held in Kochi on 23-26th of October 2009. The FHNO annual meetings have become the meeting point of all sub-specialties involved in the field of head and neck oncology in India for promoting multi-disciplinary approach to the treatment and research in this field. We hope to offer you the best of faculty and deliberations of high scientific standards during the meeting. The highlight of the meeting will be pre-conference CME program dedicated to advances in head and neck reconstruction in which leading authorities from the world in this field are expected top participate. The weather in Kochi is at its best during October and has a lot to offer for the family to enjoy. We would like to invite you all to the 'Gods Own Country' for this event and make it another landmark conference in the progress of the foundation and the science of head and neck oncology in India.

16 - 20 October, 2009 The course is designed for higher surgical trainees in Plastic Surgery, Otolaryngology, Maxillofacial Surgery, and practicing surgical oncologists to attain practical skills in Microvascular Surgery. The course has been structured to gain maximum hands-on experience in the Microvascular laboratory under the supervision of experienced faculty. Preconference CME Programmes Radiation Oncology CME CME on IMRT contouring guidelines and evaluation of IMRT plans in Head & Neck Cancer. 23rd October 2009 Venue: Department of Radiation Oncology,

Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences. Time: 9:30am to 12:30pm The CME program on IMRT in Head and Neck Cancer would highlight the contouring principles for nodal stations in the neck and the primary site with special reference to Cancer of the Nasopharynx.The hands on planning workshop would be arranged on Focal Xio planning systems. The workshop would highlight the importance of delineating the volumes required in IMRT planning diligently besides giving an insight on DVH evaluations of the final plan. The principles of image of image fusion especially the MR and PET fusion studies in planning would be demonstrated in the workshop. Course materials would be provided to ensure a continuing reference platform to instill the necessary confidence in generating as well as reviewing IMRT plans in head and Neck Cancer. Preregistration is required. No registration fees.

Medical Oncology CME Workshop on Basics in Medical Oncology 23rd October 2009 Venue: Department of Medical Oncology,
