Importance of Philippine Tourism
People nowadays come first in mind are places, but travel takes in their mind. Local and International set their travel goals to pull- through education, get a decent job, earn more money and travel around the world. Tourism plays an important role in the Philippines were peoples expect from their holiday, but Filipinos expect more income from holidays. In the Philippines, according to data gathered by the National Statistical Coordination Board (2015) 4.99 million Filipinos have been employed in tourism sector. Tourism is an important industry in the Philippines because it provides a direct source of income to the country. Tourism is a major employment generator, both directly and indirectly. Tourism quickly creates income for small and large businesses, for the government through sales tax revenues and for households through wages from tourism-related jobs. The income collected by the government in the form of taxes is provide activities, services and products used by tourists. The surge of jobs in a tourist-flocked spot promotes vocational and skills development, opens up opportunities for youth to gain experience and knowledge and allows the government to export world-class services. We must take care and protect our natural resources for the betterment of our economy. And to take the Philippines as a world-class tourist destination.
