[for free newsletters or queries and more concepts 14 Concepts for life email us at - [email protected]] "If you do well, will you not be accepted and if you do not do well, sin is lurking at the door. Its desire is for you but you must master it.” This is the answer given to every man who fails in any undertaking. This is the answer to every man who has found life to be horrible and out of control. This is the answer given to every man who experiences troubles all through the way. This is the answer to every frustrated man on earth. If you fully comprehend the meaning of this sentence and fully accept it wholeheartedly then you need no further reading. You can safely close this book and get busy with your work for whatever you touch turns to gold. But others who do not trust in its truth or do not know its truth and are looking for practical explanation continue reading.

1.

Being righteous fills The world does not operate through your laws or my laws. It already has its own set of rules. When we live by that rule we naturally get what we want with ease. When we do not, all effort from our part would be in vain. The more you want something crazily the more you drive it away. What you want to attract towards yourself, the more you repel it. This happens because you are playing by the wrong rules. As the truth says it all "Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Note the word "added". You are certainly going to get more than just what you asked for. Only then become righteous, as again said "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled." They will be filled with what their heart desires. What is being righteous after all?

2. Power of 2 - 3 tremendous We are not made to live alone. Divinity exists when two or more people live life together in peace. They make the impossible possible and get whatever they want and work for. Togetherness is power, well observed in all the great companies, families, friends, nations. For "Assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in their midst.” A group of men trying to build the first ever tall tower in Babel, and God in heaven says directing them "Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do." 4

[for free newsletters or queries and more concepts 14 Concepts for life email us at - [email protected]] 3. Anything divided, it fails Did the men succeed in building the tower? No. Why? Because god created misunderstanding between them and so they were unable to understand each other and the lovely group broke up and power was gone. Division precedes defeat. A man unable to keep peace with his fellow men, one who can never assemble people together for a cause, cannot rise up in his life. He can never experience the divine power alone but only when he is with the group. Hence the importance of the greatest commandment “love thy neighbor as thyself.” Also “Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand." And so is a task fails when your effort is divided, when your mind and heart follow different tracks.

4. Law of recompense The universe operates through give and take. When you give something, you always receive something. When you are on a fast (considered giving), and when you declare your fasting to friends, you receive their appreciation or sympathy (considered receiving). The deal is done. Fasting is compensated by the sympathy received. The advantageous way is to fast and let no one know it. Your payment is then assured with god. And will be repaid to you on time with all the interest. “When you make a dinner or a supper, don’t call your friends, or your brothers, or your kinsmen, or rich neighbors, or perhaps they might also return the favor, and pay you back. But when you make a feast, ask the poor, the maimed, the lame, or the blind; and you will be blessed, because they don’t have the resources to repay you." Choose for yourself what you want - immediate satisfaction or long term benefit.

5. Power of not judging Judging in any form is a drawback for you. Judge a person as a sinner and your mind starts searching your own mind for your own sinful acts and presents to you. Judge a person as a higher authority, a boss and your mind would tell you how small you are and so break your self esteem and hence power. Trembling and stammering and uneasiness before an authority figure are the instances. Judge a person to be low, poor man and it’s hard for you to give him respect.

[for free newsletters or queries and more concepts 14 Concepts for life email us at - [email protected]] “Don’t judge, so that you won’t be judged. For with whatever judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with whatever measure you measure, it will be measured to you."

6. Say No to anger - insults After knowing the importance of peace in a group, it’s important to know maintaining the peace. Getting angry or insulting someone no matter how wrong he may be is an unrighteous act and as said "Everyone who is angry with his brother shall be in danger of the judgment; and whoever shall say, ‘You fool!’ shall be in danger of the fire of Hell." Every disobedience of this law leads to a broken relationship and insulting, criticizing doesn’t make anyone improve, as shown below we all are like gods and we don’t like to be shown we are wrong, incomplete in anyways. If we do that, we are resented, punished, we make a repellent personality. Noah drank wine and lay naked. His younger son saw this and made fun of him outside. The elder son went in and covered his nakedness. Result the younger one was cursed and became slave and the older one was blessed, and became the ruler. Every law has a reason to be obeyed. "If therefore you are offering your gift at the altar, and there remember that your brother has anything against you, leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift. "

7. Humble yourself A common mistake man does is he thinks by talking about his accomplishments and greatness, he would receive appreciation and acceptance of his fellow men. But people willingly & naturally get impressed by one who is humble in words and acts. Break off the outer shell of showiness, flashiness and let the people see that you are a common, ordinary man. Politicians, stars need to show people that they share in the same common traits and lifestyles to gain acceptance. We feel small if we need to ask for forgiveness or show our ignorance. But remember when you humble yourself you are at once exalted as the saying goes "Whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted." so try asking for forgiveness, or showing your ignorance and people’s hearts will at once be opened for you. They would eagerly forgive you, they willingly would help you.

8. By Words you are justified What you say is very important. A wrong thought is a sin, when that thought is let out in words, its double sin. There are two great dangers with words "I tell you, don’t swear at all: neither by heaven, for it is the throne of God; nor by the earth, for it is the footstool of his feet; nor by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King. Neither shall you swear by your head, for you can’t make one hair white or black. But let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes’ and your ‘No’ be ‘No.’ Whatever is more than these is of the evil one." Remember this when you make a promise, you are in fact boasting yourself, exalting yourself and as per the law, you have to be humbled, so forces are set up against you to make sure you fall back and devoid a promise. A careful analysis of anybody's success including you, would show you this pattern repeated all times - a person makes commitment to achieve something, he goes ahead and takes few successful steps, a small bit of confidence sets in, meets with some troubles, unable to surmount it, he falls back, feels how lowly he is, humbles himself, suddenly the difficulty is overcome and success obtained. Success is only after a defeat. Success is just after one is broken at heart, humbled. "I tell you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains by itself alone. But if it dies, it bears much fruit." When a man has exhausted his strength and says no more he can, only then the divine power grants its glory to him.

9. Giving it to others Giving - give money, respect, help, time, whatever the moment suggests. Never judge a person while giving, never say he is an enemy, how could I give him. In giving or helping, your focus should never be on receiving something back from them. That is disobeying the law of recompense. "If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them. If you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same. If you lend to those from whom you hope to receive, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners, to receive back as much. But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing back; and your reward will be great." Your focus should be to receive from God, not people. As said "lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consume and where thieves don’t break through and steal."

10. Do to people, do to god A god centric approach should be your way of thinking and acting. Whatever you do, do it with all righteousness, for then you will receive what you want, because you are in full agreement with the laws. After learning so many laws, one very well comes to know that whatever you do to people, you are doing it to god. "The righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry, and feed you; or thirsty, and give you a drink? When did we see you as a stranger, and take you in; or naked, and clothe you? When did we see you sick, or in prison, and come to you?’ The King will answer them, ‘Most certainly I tell you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me." Only precaution to be taken here is discharge your duty with no intention of getting reward from them directly, that’s not going to happen, but that you are deposit a large treasure in safe with God, which will be given to you very soon with its full blessings, at the optimum point of time. Remember no reward will be lost, "Whoever gives one of these little ones just a cup of cold water to drink in the name of a disciple, most certainly I tell you he will in no way lose his reward."

11. Servant not greater than master "A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his lord. It is enough for the disciple that he be like his teacher, and the servant like his lord." A helpful approach for people to adopt at any stage of life is the master - servant concept. Among masters, you be a servant and you would automatically obey the law of humbleness. Besides that as shown below, to make yourself great you require to be a servant first. A servant never boasts in presence of his master. He is willing to obey his master’s command and hence at once gains goodwill with them. Life is of less resistance to him and he learns the best from them. Problems arise when you consider yourself to be above your master - in intellect, talent. All sorts of resistance sets in from the master as you make him feel low. Beware! You are breaking one of the eternal laws.

12. cheer up 8

Never wait for lack of something. People think they would start a better life, open a new business, and do something great when they would have money, talent, knowledge, experience. They set goals to develop themselves in areas they feel, they fall short. Hence achievement is © 2008 Applebites | This is a part of the full book “if you do well…” containing 40 powerful concepts

[for free newsletters or queries and more concepts 14 Concepts for life email us at - [email protected]] always in future for them. They don’t realize that when they would have cultivated what they desired for, they would still feel incomplete and need much more developments. People will always find themselves in a state of incompleteness and so life is just spent in making adjustments here and there, with no real life work which would earn them a name among people. The truth is, you already have whatever you need to enrich your life, to fulfill your lifework. Your creator has given you these. Never try to belittle yourself and feel something lacking inside. Never say I can’t do this at present but may be in future. Carry this thought in all that you do and very soon you would have achieved the best in so short a time. Start it now. Opportunities are always present all times. Never look for them as existing in future. "A great multitude followed Jesus, and they pressed upon him on all sides. A suffering woman came up behind him in the crowd, and touched his clothes. For she said, “If I just touch his clothes, I will be made well.” Immediately she was healed of her affliction." Powerful forces are present all times near us, surrounding us, but we are like the crowd that is irresponsive to it. One can take advantage of these only if they would think like the woman thought. It’s all with us, the way we think makes us use or lose opportunities. Never see yourself complete in future. You are complete, happy, now, at present. "His disciples said to him, "Is circumcision useful or not?" He said to them, "If it were useful, their father would produce children already circumcised from their mother." Again "Don’t you say, ‘There are yet four months until the harvest’? Behold, I tell you, lift up your eyes, and look at the fields, that they are white for harvest already. He who reaps receives wages."

13. Saving is losing You will only degrade yourself if you focus on yourself, your wants and wishes. One cannot do good to himself by thinking about himself. There are only two great laws which embrace all. These are to love god and to love people. Never is anywhere stated to love or think about yourself. We are excellent decision makers for other people, but when it comes to our own all sorts of fears, doubts, emotions, ego set in and cloud the truth, hamper it. We can handle very well, others property and are at ease with it. But it’s very difficult to handle our very own, the ones we love. Hence the saying "For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, and whoever will lose his life for my sake will find it." When one thinks about oneself first, all the elements of the universe are set against him and start resisting him. When he forgets himself and starts caring for others, the whole universe starts caring for him, things automatically fall into his lap. "The ground of a certain rich man brought forth abundantly. He reasoned within himself, saying, ‘What will I do, because I don’t have room to store my crops?’ He said, ‘This is what I will do. I will pull down © 2008 Applebites | This is a part of the full book “if you do well…” containing 40 powerful concepts

I will tell my soul, “Soul, you have many goods laid up for many years. You’re your ease, eat, drink, be merry”. But God said to him, ‘You foolish one, tonight your soul is required of you. The things which you have prepared—whose will they be?’"

14. All that is in you Everything precious in a man is the spirit. Spirit is ever changing. Say after watching a horror movie, you are very delicate at heart, afraid of dark, and everywhere you see the ghost figure. It’s the lowest, fearful spirit you are in at the moment. No works of higher order are capable with this spirit. A man must be for most of the time in a productive state; a strong, fearless, spirit is what he requires. How does he get that? "It is the spirit who gives life. The flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and are life.” When you lack such a spirit, even a small ant is capable of attacking you. The earthly elements are such, they accept all your orders, are friendly to you, only so long as you are strong. Christ started walking on waters, because he was so strong in spirit that the waters yielded to his will. As soon as you show a timid spirit, all the earthly forces turns hostile and then drive you away as stated "I will send a faintness into their hearts in the lands of their enemies; and the sound of a shaken leaf shall chase them; and they shall flee, as fleeing from a sword; and they shall fall when none pursueth." Also Christ said pointing a man carrying a lamb."He will not eat it while it is alive with spirit, but only after he has killed it and it has become a carcass. Otherwise he can't do it." See to it, you always have high spirits or else it’s very easy to crush you. The same is seen in societies, the person showing a willingness to retreat, is pushed around without mercy, but no person raises a hand on one whose presence is bold enough to create an awe. He is got least resistance and moves in life easily. When the spirit rises and commands, the gods are ready to obey.
