Quality Planning Quality Planning establishes the design of a product, service, or process that will meet customer, business, and operational needs to produce the product before it is produced.
Quality Planning Steps Identify who are the customers. ( internal & external ) Discovered the hidden and unmet needs of those customers. Translate those needs into our language. Develop a product or service that exceeds customers’ needs. Develop a process which is able to produce the product. Transfer the process to operations.
Quality Controlling It means a reaction often called troubleshooting, or corrective action associated with quality control.
Quality Controlling Steps Measure actual performance. Compare actual performance to goals. Act on differences.
Quality Improvement It refers to the meticulous uncovering and diagnosing of the root causes of chronic and costly problems within existing products or processes. It devises remedial changes that remove or manage the causes, and implements controls to prevent the problems from reoccurring.
