Denver, October 2, 2009 – Holme Roberts & Owen LLP (HRO) is delighted to announce the formation of Holme Roberts & Owen Solicitors in Dublin, Ireland (HRO Dublin). HRO is again breaking new ground as the first U.S. law firm to open an office in Ireland. HRO Dublin is HRO’s third office in the European Union, and 10th location worldwide. Situated in the heart of Dublin City at 11 St. Stephen's Green, HRO Dublin was established in September 2009 to provide corporate and commercial legal services to a broad range of clients, including banking, entertainment, media, pharmaceutical, technology, telecommunications and sports sectors. The team has extensive international experience with lawyers qualified in New York, Hong Kong, England and Wales, and Ireland. As an integral part of HRO’s international network, HRO Dublin will also draw on the expertise of over 250 lawyers based in our nine other strategically positioned offices in Boulder, Colorado Springs, Denver, Los Angeles, London, Munich, Phoenix, Salt Lake City, and San Francisco. Partners James Wolsey and Tony Grant, and Of Counsel Kate O’Brien will lead HRO Dublin. These talented lawyers expand HRO’s ability to meet the needs of existing U.S. and European clients in Ireland and provide a platform from which to attract Irish clients. Furthermore, the Dublin team’s vast experience across Asia, Europe, and the U.S. will greatly augment HRO’s ability to facilitate global transactions. HRO has fostered strong working relationships with these Dublin-based colleagues to ensure that all clients receive seamless international service. Mr. Wolsey cites the Dublin office as complementary to serving all HRO clients as it will enhance HRO’s already strong European presence. Tony Grant and Jonathan Dawe of HRO Grant Dawe, who represent HRO’s 17-year London office presence, and Jens Roehrborn of HRO’s Munich office, who represents an over seven-year HRO presence, enthusiastically welcome the addition of HRO Dublin and look forward to working closely with their new colleagues. Mr. Wolsey further explained, “We are delighted with the opportunity to join with HRO to launch the HRO Dublin office and work alongside HRO’s U.S.-based international legal advisors. Our key practice areas and clients are uniquely fitted to work with HRO as the first Irish affiliate office of any U.S. law firm.” The Dublin office opening broadens HRO's already considerable European presence to include a third major European city while the firm continues to thrive in key business and

HRO's commanding hold in core areas, such as commercial law and securities, intellectual property, and finance, including sports & entertainment, receives a significant boost from the Dublin team’s considerable international experience.
