2nd round Start at one of the picots on the outer chain Big Wing Ch 4-4 R 4-2-2 Ch 4-4 R3+3-3-3 Ch 4-4 ® 4+4-4-4 Ch 4-4 R 8+( join to last p on last ®) 8 With the chain shuttle make a floating ring R 6-2--2-6 DNR Ch 4-4 R 4+( join to last p on® ) 4 Ch 4-4 R 3+3-3-3 Ch 4-4 R 2+2-4 Ch 4-4 LJ on the next free p on the centre motif
Small Wing Ch4-4 R 4-2-2 Ch 4-4 ® 3+3-3-3 Ch4-4 R 6+ (join to last p on ® )6 With the chain shuttle make floating ring R 6-2—2-6 DNR Ch 4-4 R 3+(join to last p on ® ) 3-3-3 Ch 4-4 R 2+2-4 Ch 4-4 LJ on the next free p on the centre motif Repeat the small wing followed by the big wing and finish at the point where started. Cut and tie Take a 2 inch thread piece and make a lark head knot at the starting picot to make the antlers of the butterfly.
