MEDIA ADVISORY Sunday, September 13, 2009 1:30 p.m. HOBLOCK TO CALL ON SOARES TO INVESTIGATE COLONIE ENDORSEMENT-FOR-JOBS SCANDAL COLONIE - Republican Town Supervisor candidate Mike Hoblock will conduct a press conference and call for a criminal investigation of published reports the Colonie Independence Party Chairman exchanged his Party’s support for a promise of a town job with the Paula Mahan administration. Hoblock said that promising of a government job or benefit – paid for with taxpayers’ money – in exchange for political favors is illegal and a serious violation of the public trust. “This is about more than politics. This case is about whether Paula Mahan used the people’s money to try to buy herself another line on the ballot,” he said. WHO:
