Council 82 endorses Mike Hoblock for Colonie Town Supervisor The New York State Law Enforcement Officers Union, Council 82, AFSCME, AFL-CIO would like to announce the endorsement of Mike Hoblock for Colonie Town Supervisor. Council 82 Executive Director James Lyman said, “It is with great pleasure to announce Council 82’s endorsement of Mike Hoblock for Colonie Town Supervisor. Mike has a distinguished career in public service and has always been an outstanding voice for the citizens of Albany County. Through his experiences as a state assemblyman, state senator, and Albany County Executive, Mike has gained tremendous amounts of knowledge on the issues that are important to the residents of Colonie. I have complete faith that he is the best candidate.” Council 82 President Christian M. Mesley said, “Mike Hoblock has a proven track record as a public servant. His dedication to his community is unparalleled. This was an easy decision to endorse Mike for Town Supervisor as I know that he will continue to be a strong voice for the men and women of law enforcement and all of the citizens of the Town of Colonie.” Mike Hoblock said, “The men and women of Council 82 are on the front lines when it comes to keeping our families safe. I look forward to standing shoulder to shoulder with them as we continue to make sure that Colonie is a model community in the Capital Region - safe to raise a family, run a business or enjoy your golden years. " Council 82 represents nearly 5000 law enforcement officers throughout New York State.
