New Delhi, November 30, 2007: According to source, Secretary of Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) PB Lashkar today made an official announcement saying that the AHSEC has approved the inclusion of Hmar MIL as an alternative subject for Class XII. It should be noted that Hmar language was already recommended to be included in the AHSEC curriculum on September, 2007 The Hmar MIL will now be part of the AHSEC’s Class XI and Class XII curriculum starting next year.
