Healthy Ghouls presents a
FRIGHTFULLY FUN 5K Run/Walk Greenfield Cross Country Trail in Botetourt County Saturday, Oct. 31 at 10 a.m. Promoting a healthy, active lifestyle for families in the Roanoke Valley during the “candy” season! It’s Halloween, so wear your costumes! This is a different kind of race – predict your own time to win!
To Benefit Southwestern Va. Second Harvest Food Bank
In lieu of an entry fee, please bring a non-perishable donation.

Frightfully Fun 5K Run/Walk Greenfield CrossCountry Trail Botetourt County Registration : Pre-Registration by e-mail sent to [email protected] required.
Race open to first 100 registrants. Completed and signed registration form collected in person on day of event. Event Schedule : Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009 7:00 - 8:30 a.m. : Race set-up 8:30 - 9:45 a.m. : Packet pick-up and registration 9:50 a.m. : Runners to their mark 10:00 - 11:15 a.m. : Race 11:30 a.m. : Presentation of awards Type of Race : This
race will be a “Predict Your Own Time” event. Top three participants who finish closest to their predicted time will win. No timing devices of any type allowed. Run will take place Rain/Shine.

Entry Fee : Non-perishable food donation to support the Southwestern Virginia Second Harvest Food Bank encouraged. www.swvafoodbank.org

I assume all risks associated with running including, but not limited to, falls, weather conditions, contact with other participants, the effects of the course, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release the Healthy Ghouls Organizers, Averett University, Greenfield Cross Country Trail, Botetourt County, plus all event partners, sponsors, and volunteers, their representatives and successors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this race even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons named in this waiver. Further I grant permission to all of the foregoing to use any photographs, motion pictures, or other record of this event for any legitimate purpose without compensation to me. For safety reasons, I agree not to participate with any of the following: wheelchairs, crutches, strollers, baby joggers, skates, pets, or headsets.
