Head Injury Notification

Head Injury Notification Dear Parent/Guardian of: Your student injured his/her head today. No obvious injury occurred. However, because of the rare possibility of problems developing over the next few days, it is recommended that you seek immediate medical help if any of the following symptoms occur: •

Confusion

•

Persistent drowsiness, crying, or distress

•

Unsteadiness or dizziness

•

Difficulty with walking, talking, or vision

•

Severe or constant headache

•

Vomiting

•

Clear or bloody drainage from the ears or nose

•

Seizures

•

Any other behavior or appearance that worries you
