I am taking this statement in reference to the events on August 20th, 2008, that occurred during the uh, PRP football practice. Please describe the events of August 20, 2008, from the beginning to the end of practice. How are water breaks given individually or as a team?

Hatfield

As a team.

On August 20, 2008, how many water breaks did you take?

Hatfield

I’m really not sure, think about 3 to 4.

Jones

After the last water break what did the team practice consist of?

Hatfield

Uhm, our normal running.

Jones

I’m sorry normal running?

Yeah.

Uh, why was the team running sprints?

Hatfield

Uh, mostly we run after practice it’s for like conditioning.

So, mostly for conditioning?

How many sprints did your group run?

The uh, smaller guys.

We just run the big guys, and then we run the small guys.

Uh, what end of the field did you run, were you running?

Uh, we run from one side of the field to the other.

Uh, from the width of the field to, or the length of the field?

Uh, the width.

How may sprints did you run before taking off gear?

Uhm, think about 5.

Probably about 5.

A couple of ‘em.

Uh, Antonio Calloway, and then when we.

When did he get sick?

At uh, like uh, when we took off our equipment, he started breathing hard.

After we run several.

How many did you say he ran before he got sick?

Uh, probably about 15, 20.
