Sustainable architecture To reduce • • • • •

Building placement Passive solar building design Natural light Ventilation system Alternative energy production solar panel wind turbine solar water heating Rain water harvesting

Sustainable architecture To reuse Recycle material • • • • •

Bahan bangunan produksi ramah lingkungan Reclaim material (seperti limbah kayu) Rapid replenish material (seperti bamboo yg cepat di kembang biakan) Efisiensi penggunaan bahan Penggunaan ulang bahan bangunan (penggunaan kusen pintu dan jendela yg layak dari bongkaran bangunan lain

Sustainable architecture To recycle On-site use of waste management • Grey water system (penggunaan ulang limbah cuci, seperti untuk menyiram tanaman) • Composting toilet (penggunaan ulang limbah kotoran sepert gas metan) • On-site food waste composting (penggunaan sisa makanan) • Pengolahan limbah bangunan dan rumah tangga To reduce house waste to a small amount of packaging waste (mengurangi limbah rumah tangga)

conclusions Green building / sustainable building should be designed and operated to reduce the overall impact of the built environment on human health and the natural environment by: 1.Efficiently using energy, water, and other resources 2.Protecting occupant health and improving employee productivity 3.Reducing waste, pollution and environmental degradation
