2 May 2009 Mr. Pat McQuiad President Union Cycliste Internationale Dear Sir: Gratitude cannot be postponed. Despite our city’s urgent preparations to allow Filipino viewers to watch the Paquiao-Hatton fight via live TV cast, we have to immediately send this letter to show our DEEPEST GRATITUDE to the support that the UCI has been showing to Philcycling in maintaining our autonomous status, freed from political harassment and focusing our beloved sport. We state our undertaking to further develop our sport , to participate in all UCI sanctioned events and to render support to our cyclists in whatever way possible within our means. Thank you Sir.
