So that with good courage we say, The Lord is my helper; I will not fear: What shall man do unto me?
Hebrews13:6
Magabadedi is one funny kid, and we sure love him. For over a month now his life has been in danger, yet his simple child-like faith has remained strong. Last month a man from a neighboring clan got sick and died. His clan members figured that someone must have killed him with sorcery, and now they are looking for retribution. Magabadedi, his father, and 2 other men are being targeted. For weeks enemy footprints have been seen around these hamlets. If you ask Magabadedi “Are you scared of those who want to shoot you?” He says, “No, I’m not scared, the Creator One alone is big. Men are just a small thing.”

Language Evaluation Stage 2 Completed Coral, a language consultant, and Sarah during the evaluation
A few weeks ago, we completed stage 2, out of 4, in our language study. We praise the Lord for the strength and endurance up to this point, yet there is still much to learn. Our co-workers have helped us understand some of the aspects of Dao grammar. Also, most of the Dao are patient language teachers. We look forward to the day when we can enter into a full time ministry of teaching the Dao to follow their Lord. With this motivation, we carry on.
