Grandparents Day Celebration Schedule

______________________________________________________School. We are celebrating Grandparent’s day on ____ September2009. A warm & hearty welcome to all our dear Grandparents on the occasion of Grand Parents day, the timing for the program me is ________am to ________pm, so we request you to cooperate with us by following the necessary instructions as given below. 1) Please send one of the best photographs of your child with grandparent’s (single grandparent with grandchild or couple with grandchild) for JR.KG. Division’s only, and for SR.KG .Division’s send only grandparent’s photo( single grandparent or couple) the photograph should be of postcard size, and the photo should be submitted latest by __________September2009. All the photographs will be displayed on ____, 2009. And best photogenic photograph will be selected & awarded from both section of preprimary. 2) Creative card competition: each and every child of JR.KG. & SR.KG have to make a card and submit to their respective class teacher latest by, __________September 2009.(This card should be made by the child only, with their parent’s guidance) as this card will be distributed as a keepsake on grandparents day , & on the inside of the card it should be written as , Made by Mst/Ms.____________________ of STD: ____DIV:_____, (and mentioned as) To,

My Dear grandparent’s, (please don’t mention grandparents name on the card, as each card will be distributed randomly to any of the grandparent’s) best creative card‘s prize will be given to the child, on the occasion of grandparents day. 3) Non Participants will come in civil dress, and participants are expected to come dressed in their respective given costume from home, and all the participants of JR.KG. Should gather in JR.KG. Div: A as they arrive in the morning, and all the participants of SR.KG. Should gather in SR.KG .Div: A & non participants will be seated along with their grandparent’s. 4)Different Games and activities have been prepared for Grandparents, keeping them in mind and active participation for the same is expected, these games are as follows, E.g.: a)Show Your Talent, (where you can participate in this either by singing, dancing, acting, or by playing an instrument etc, time limit for the same will be 3minutes & please get the required items for the same) b) Fancy dress cum fashion parade. c) Dressing up dadi or nani (where different materials such as bindi, comb, bangles, etc will be given and dada or nana will have to dress their companion). d) getting dada or nana ready for his evening walk,( so dadi or nani has to be a helping hand In getting him ready by giving the things required for the same.

e) Couple dances on the latest hit numbers, best danced couple will be selected and all the winners for each of the above games, prizes will be given please note each couple can participate in one game or activity only. 5) Bus arrangements will be provided to & fro, timings for the same will be informed later
