Sentence: A group of words which makes complete sense Kinds of sentences • Affirmative Sentence( ‘Yes’ sentence) Ex: He is writing a letter subject + verb • Negative Sentence(‘No’ sentence) Ex: He is not writing a letter • Interrogative Sentence (‘question’) ex: is he writing? Verb + subject • Imperative Sentence(‘order’) Ex: Let me go • Exclamatory Sentence (No verb) Ex: Oh!
