City College of Technology. General Information College Hours. The College is open for classes from 09.00-21.00 from Monday to Friday During term time, the Information Desk is open each weekday from 08.45-18.45, and after that until the end of classes a senior member of the academic staff is on duty in the Office, Ext. 230. Parking. No vehicle can be parked on the roadways within the College Grounds. Season tickets for the car parks can be bought from the City authorities. There is a speed limit of 10 kph on all roads within the College grounds. Permits for parking motorcycles, scooters and bicycles, at the rider's risk, can be obtained from the College Information Office. Dining Room The College Dining Room is open at the following times: 08.30-11.15 Tea Coffee Snacks 11.30-13.30 Lunches 14.45-15.45 Tea Coffee Snacks 16.30-18-30 Evening meals Miscellaneous. The playing of musical instruments or sound reproducers within the College or its grounds is prohibited, except for official or approved purposes. Smoking is prohibited, except in the Students' Common Room, the Dining Room (except 12.00-14.00 daily) and in other areas where 'Smoking Permitted' signs are displayed. Fees. Fees are fixed for each year by the Education Committee, and details of fees are often not available until the end of the Summer term. Students applying to the College who wish to gain 1
