Many products have low quantity production needs due to changing technology, design or low volume products. In a high volume world this can make things difficult for companies that need high quality production parts and want to eliminate the need to cut expensive injection molds. If you need to produce parts, but do not meet the quantity for production status, this is where “Short Run” production maintains superior advantages. Cast Urethanes can be hand mixed and poured, or meter mixed and injected to accomplish your production needs.

GPI provides DMLS, the latest technology in rapid prototype and manufacturing services. DMLS applications range from prototypes to series products and end parts. Metal parts of the most complex geometries are built layer-bylayer (down to 20 microns) directly from 3D CAD data, automatically, with no tooling. The parts have excellent mechanical properties, high detail resolution and exceptional surface quality. The process melts the metal powder entirely, creating a fine, homogeneous structure. DMLS enables the formation of cavities and undercuts which, with conventional methods, can only be produced with great difficulty, if at all. This makes the technology ideal for applications that require maximum individuality, such as building customized medical implants.

RTV Tooling & Urethane Casting

GPI offers Objet, the cutting edge in rapid-prototyping that elevates three-dimensional models to a whole new level. Based on PolyJet®, this photopolymer-jetting technology produces outstanding surface features and detail with the finest resolution of horizontal layers in the market (16 microns). We can build thin walls down to 0.6 mm and eliminate the stair step effect typical of SLA models. Objet also offers a large family of materials for you to choose from (6 rigid resins & 3 soft durometer resins), making GPI a one-stop shop for all your prototyping needs!
