The Apostle Paul speaks about these false teachers . These false apostles of light. ( 2 Coprinthians chapter 11 verse 13 to 15 ). These perverters of the truthg preach another gospel.They preach a perverted gospel. ( Galatians 1 verse 6 to 9 ). The serpent was a teacher of a false gospel of light in Genesis chapter 3. He perverted the truth to Eve. He told her that her eyes would be " ....opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good from evil......" ( Gnesi 3 verse 5 ). Balaam was a false teacher. He had the doctrine of Balaam. He made the children of Isreal to commit whoredom with Moabite prostitutes.( Numbers chapters 22 to 26 ). Gehazi, Elisha's servant lusted after the vain riches of this world and believed in a prosperity gospel and wanted his reward on this side of eternity. ( 2 Kings chapter 5 ). Gehazi had forgotten about lusting after ther things of the cosmos system. He had forgot about Achan in the book of Joshua that had coveted after the Babylonian garment ( Joshua chapter 7 ). The Lord Jesus Christ said "...What does it profit a man to gain the whole world but lose his soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul...." ( Matthew 16 verse 26 ). These false teachers are tares growing among the wheat. They are the children of the wicked one. ( Matthew 13 verses 3 to 30 ). Much can be said about thes false teachers. These false preachers that preach prosperity.The lives that they live does not empower them to live godly lives worthy of the gospel for they have ot received of the Lord Jesus ( Acts 20 verse 24 ) to testify the gospel of the grace of God ( Acts 20 verse 24 ) and to preach the Kingdom of God ( Acts 20 verse 25 ) and to declare the whole counsel of God ( Acts 20 verse 27 ) . By their fruit ye shall know them. ( Matthew chapter 7 verses 15 to 27 ).
