There is spiritual wickedness in high places.Gross darkness covering the face of the earth. The satanic assault from the pits of hell cannot and willnot pevail against the Church of the Living God.Satan has always tried to defeat God's purpose. God's purpose cannot be defeated by Satan or any of satan's servants or satan's messengers and satan has always failed. Satan tried to lift himself higjher than the throne of God, he failed. Satan was cast out of heaven like lightening.Nothing that satan does can prosper. Satan's works are deceptive and truth will always triumph over deception. Satan tried to destroy the whole human race in the garden of Eden by deceiving Eve. Adam was not deceived . Eve was. But God had a plan of redemption andf promised that Messiah would come and redeem man in the fulness of time.In the fulness of time the Seed of promise the Lord Jesus Christ was born nd at Calvary satan was defeated by the Lord Jesus Christ. In jerusalem there is an empty tomb for Christ arose from the dead within three days. Satan tried to destroy the righteous seed of Adam and Eve by using Cain the son of the wicked one to murder Abel. But God gave Seth to Adam and Eve speaking of the life death and resurrection of the righteous seed. The gospel was preached in the lives of Abel and Seth. There is a ressurection from the dead. There is life beyond the grave. God made a Blood Covenant with Abram and changed Abram's name to Abraham the Father of many nations. Satan tried to interrupt God's programme many times with gross wickedness. Abraham stayed out of Sodom and Gomorrah . Abraham walked by faith not by sight. Abraham had the eagle eye of faith that was not dimmed by the wickedness of this cosmos system. Abraham had nothing to do with the gross wickedness of those cities.sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed for their wicked sin of homosexuality.Abraham's prayer of intercession helped Lot and his two daughters to escape the judgement fires of Sodom and gomorrah. Lot vexed his righteous soul in Sodom. Lot by walking in the flesh paralysed the little faith he had so that he became weak in faith. But Abraham strong in faith staggered not in unbelied but was strong in faith giving glory to God. Abraham interceded for Lot and his family. Lot's wife lusted after the life of sodom and Gomorrah and she looked back against the commandment of the Angels and was turned into a pillar of salt. Abraham begat Isaac, Isaac begat Jacob, Jacob begat the patriachs of Israel.Joseph was sold into slavery his jealous brothersa that were jealous of his prophectic gift of visions and dreams.god delivered Joseph and when there was famine in the land of Cannaan tjhere was corn in Egypt because Joseph ruled in Egypt as Prime Minister of Egypt. After Joseph had revealed himself to his brothers and was reconciled to his father Jacob and Joseph had died , spiritual blindness struck the nation of Israel . The Israelites became slaves and forgot their identity in the Word of God until they were driven to prayer by persecution and hard bondage and cried out to the one true Living God. God heard their prayers and sent them a deliverer Moses who through many signs and wonders delivered the children of Israel and on eagles wings took them out of bondage. Moses died and Joshua took them into the ptromised land.Joshua and Caleb had not been afraid to drive out the nations before them knowing that God wasmore than able to give them the land of promise. Throughout the scriptures we read of the faithfulness of God to His word and to those that keep his Word. God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we can ask or think There is nothing to hard for the Lord. He dwells in the praises of His people..The gates of hell shall not prevail against the Church of the living God. The Light of God shines brightest in the darkect hour.God's children stay in His presence and wait on Him knowing that without His strenght we can do nothing but in Christ Jesus we can do all things .
