Getting Started GF List (Just SOME of the mainstream items that we eat most often) GV: Great Value (WalMart brand, which says GLUTEN FREE on their back labels for GF items) 1. Snacks

Menu Ideas: Tacos: Beef, McCormick Taco Seasoning, GV Refried Beans, Cheese, Lettuce, Corn Tortillas or 100% Corn Hard Shells (no flour tortillas), Daisy/GV sour cream, etc Uncle Ben’s or Zatarain’s Spanish Rice Zatarain’s Cheesy Jambalaya Spaghetti: You should be able to get a GF spaghetti at your regular grocery store. Even WalMart carries DeBoles Rice Spaghetti in a blue and yellow box right with the regular spaghetti. Our favorite pasta that we get at a regular grocery (Albertson’s, etc) is Quinoa Spaghetti in a teal-colored box. Ragu or Classico spaghetti sauce Bagged Salad Kraft Ranch, Newman’s Own Ranch, Ken’s Creamy French, Caesar, Italian, etc… Frito Chili Pie: Original Fritos, Chili: Hormel WITH beans or Campbell’s HOLD THE BEANS (or I just found another yummy brand in a small grocery store called STAGG chili and it has GLUTEN FREE labeled on the back!!), Sargento shredded cheddar cheese, Daisy or GV sour cream Nachos: Spread MISSION (or other brand mentioned above) tortilla chips on a cookie sheet, spread with refried beans, beef mixed with Pace Enchilada Sauce, cheese. Sometimes I spread Rotel Cheese Dip on them also. Bake at 400 for 10-15 minutes until cheese is melted. Add sour cream, jalapenos, picante sauce, etc. Delimex Chicken Taquitos with Rotel Cheese Dip Grilled Chicken Breasts, one of the flavored rices or mashed potatoes, vegetable of your choice, salad, etc.

Grill out! Hamburgers (no bun, but spoil yourself with the toppings: fancy cheese and BBQ sauce; swiss cheese and grilled onions, etc), Steak w/ baked potato, Italian Sausage, Pork Chops, Hot Dogs Baked Fish, Fully-Cooked Ham Steaks (you can throw in a casserole dish, cover with crushed pineapple and bake until hot; you can cook in a skillet; we love to eat ham with mashed potatoes) “Dump Soup”: ground beef, cooked; tomato sauce; water; canned veggies (green beans, corn, potatoes, carrots); salt and pepper Stir-Fry: Meat of choice: chicken, pork, etc; 1 package frozen stir-fry veggies (no sauce); jar of LaChoy sweet and sour sauce. Cook meat, add veggies until crisp tender, add sauce and heat through. Serve over rice.
