HOUSE FOREIGN AFFAIRS SUBCOMMITTEE ON AFRICA AND GLOBAL HEALTH CONVENES TO DISCUSS U.S. GOVERNMENT’S PLAN FOR GLOBAL FOOD SECURITY Hearing to Focus on the Obama Administration’s Global Strategy and Recommendations WHAT:
The Obama administration announced its plan for global hunger alleviation and improved food security. The House Committee on Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Africa and Global Health will hold a hearing, “A Call to Action on Food Security: A Progress Report on the Administration’s Global Strategy” to discuss the administration’s initiative and gather key recommendations for further developing and implementing the plan.
