FUELS Female Undergraduates Educating and Leading in Science Dear Applicant, The purpose of FUELS is to provide information and encouragement to women in the science field through education, leadership and mentoring. The goal of this new organization is to promote both the achievement of women in science and our future successes. FUELS aims to meet as a group twice per month: once for discussion of concerns facing women in science and once for a speaker or excursion. There will also be a mentoring component where we hope to have students meet with female faculty mentors once a month for lunch or coffee.
