Freedom to Love.
Romans 8:21 that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God. Galatians 5:1 It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. To be able to lead/minister to/love people, we have to be free to do so. Yet we will never be wholly free until heaven, so something is always hindering our hearts from freely loving people. What is hindering you right now? Know that, whatever it may be, it is already defeated, and it is like air1 Corinthians 9:26 Therefore I do not run like a man running aimlessly; I do not fight like a man beating the air. And guess who the prince of the air is... Ephesians 2:2 in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. Some of us need to share with our brothers and sisters our burdens, and some of us need to be better listeners. There should not be fear with whatever is troubling our hearts. Freedom can come through confession. James 5:16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.
