Freaks And Geeks

More fashionable clothing than the geeks gives the audience an insight on which standing they may have at school. Also, the Freaks clothing is more relaxed which gives more of an impression that they aren’t too bothered about what they look like or how they come across. Comparing this to the Geeks shows huge differences. Such as; their clothing is much smarter and more uptight. This gives an impression into their personality, which is of an uptight and timid nature. Also it seems as if they have been dressed by their mothers.

Says in the title who the main characters are/ who the series will be about.

Scruffy shoes link back to the signs of them being scruffy, and not worrying too much about what they look like.

Shows who is who. I.e. the freaks are standing behind where it says freaks, and the geeks are standing behind where it says geeks.

These two groups are isolated from the rest of the school, or labelled and not accepted.

Lockers give it the feel that it’s in school. The ‘Geeks’ shoes are much smarter than the ‘Freaks’, this shows how they are much more concerned about how they look, or certainly their mothers are.
