The following slides are highlighting what I have worked on throughout Literacy and Technology in Inclusive Settings.
Collect and Analyze Information & Resources During this class we practiced checking the
credibility of a web page. We used different search engines, to see the different things each had to offer We also subscribed to RSS Feeds, to keep up on all the latest Educational news.
Organize Information and Resources We created charts and tables using different
Microsoft programs to better organize information. We subscribed to Delicious, so that we could bookmark all of the important Education websites that we thought might be helpful to us in the future.
Analyze Information and Resources We learned how to verify whether a website’s
information was credible.
Compiled and Shared Resources Created a Scribd account, so that we could
embed papers, and PowerPoints into web pages. Created a Wiki page to share the information from an assigned chapter of the course’s text book with our classmates. Learned how to check the readability of our documents , and practiced on lowering the readability if it was too high.
Studied Efficient Teaching Strategies We spent a great deal of time discussing
differentiated instruction. Along with that, we discussed the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) Our Wiki project also taught us teaching strategies.
