During our report, we imply to our classmates the Five Traits of Technical Writing; Clarity, Conciseness, Accessibility, Audience, and Accuracy. Those are important in

writing,

especially

in

business

writing,

business

proposals and etc. The experience speaking in front was memorable. We first introduce our objectives towards the topic and explain the main focus. Second, we let them do the activity called; “Break the Code”. These is to exercise their mind before engaging with the discussion, so that they will energetically respond to us. Later on, we showed the definition of terms which will be used to the introduction of the topic and discussion. Third, the essence of the report or the discussion of the main topic.

We

explain the meaning and importance of the five traits of technical writing. Fourth, we entertain questions regarding the topic that we have been discuss and let them analyze the

words

that

they

don’t

clearly understand. After that, we gave them another activity which is “Arrange me” to check if they are still into the discussion. Then, we found out

that they are still listening to us though not all. And lastly, we gave them a quiz that is connected to the given topic. These is to test them how sharp their memory is after the discussion. We later on check their paper and luckily they all got the average score we expect. At the end of our report we proceed to the input of the teacher for additional information.

NARRATIVE REPORT IN TECHNICAL WRITING

TEJERO Instructor During our report, our classmates are looking forward to learn more about Types of Writing Required in the Technical Professions, Basic Aspects of Technical Writing, and Basic Principles of Good Technical Writing. Before we start our report we introduce our name first. When we proceed to our report, we discuss the objectives. After that, we gave them an activity which is related to our topic and this activity called “Code Me”. We group them into four groups. The direction is; in each group, anybody who answer the questions that is presented using power point presentation, it is important that the reporter let them do the activity in which the students exercise their brain as well as to prevent the students to get bored. In spite of, difficult to answer the questions, I am so very happy because everybody was able to answer the activity with a lots of enjoyment. Even though, we are the first reporter of Advanced Technical Writing still we tried our best to make it successful. Despite of embarrassment in front, I did my best to present the

topics clearly. Being a reporter is not easy but it will strengthen my skills how to be a good reporter. Consequently, the reporter is just like joining the pageant because they said that “Talking is not as easy as Walking”.
