ON THE BROADWAY STREETSCAPE!

Tuesday, Nov. 24th, 2009 5:30–7:30 PM Open house format w/ presentation and remarks at 6:30 PM The Exchange - 114 W. 5th Street (5th between Spring & Main)

Join us as we share the Final Designs for the Broadway Streetscape Master Plan. We need you to review and provide input on the final concepts for the design of Broadway’s public right of way areas, including elements on the sidewalks and in the street itself which enhance the environment and historic character of the corridor, and better serve pedestrians and transit riders, including: • • • •

Street Configuration and Station Design Planting, Materials and Furnishings Wayfinding Signage Identity Elements

The Streetscape Master Plan is intended to improve the appearance, enhance the identity, promote the pedestrian environment, improve transit accessibility and foster the economic revitalization of the Broadway corridor. The Broadway Streetscape Master Plan project is part of Bringing Back Broadway, a public-private partnership initiative focused on the long-term success and viability of the Historic Broadway District between 2nd and Olympic.

Acompañenos mientras compartmos el diseño final del plan maestro de Broadway Streetscape. Lo necesitamos para repasar y darnos su opinion sobre los conceptos finales del diseño de áreas públicas del derecho de paso, incluyendo elementos en las aceras y en la calle principal que realza el cáracter histórico y sirve peatones y a usuarios del tránsito incluyendo: • • • •

Configuración de calles y diseños a estaciones Plantaciones, materiales y muebles Letreros indicando diferentes destinos Identificador de elementos

El plan maestro del streetscape proponen mejhorar el aspecto, realzar la identidad, promover el am biente peatonal al igual de mejorar la accesibilidad al transporte publico y la revitalización económica, del pasillo de Broadway. Ahora marque su calendario y planee asistir! ¡Todos son Bienvenidos!
