Facilities & Connectivity
– 22.2 mln Tonnes – Private Barges, tugs and launches are provided from Bedi Bunder as and when required on request from shippers. – A new Jetty at Sikka Port has been constructed for discharging GSFC’s imports of Liquid Ammonia and Phospheric Acid through pipelines. – Sikka is rail and road connected to Jamnagar.

Porbandar is an all-weather Port with direct berthing facilities. It is situated on the west coast of Saurashtra facing the Arabian Sea.

Dahej is a fair-weather lighterage Port, situated at the junction of Guljaria and Ban Creek, on the west coast of India

Facilities & Connectivity
– 13.7 mln Tonnes – Tugs, launches and barges are available with DHIL, IPCL & GCPTCL. – The port cargo is generally handled with cranes. Port users have to arrange the same from private parties, as this facility is not available at the Port. Captive jetties are fitted with cargo handling equipments – Dahej is connected to Bharuch (distance 45 kms) and Vadodara (108 kms) by road. The nearest railway station is Bharuch on broad gauge trunk route. The AMA – 3rd January, 2008
Mundra Mundra P O R T S O F G U J A R A T
Mundra is a GMB lighter port and has a private salt and bentonite (Ashapura) loading jetty. It is situated in Bocha Creek, in the Gulf of Kutch on the west coast of India.
Facilities & Connectivity
Godown facilities of about 2400 sq.mtrs. are available Jetties & wharfs for lighters and barges – 2m depth. Salt loading jetty for (small) coastal vessels. Mundra is connected to Gandhidham by road and then by National Highway and by broad gauge railway to the rest of India. Nearest airports are Kandla and Bhuj

Import: Timber, Waste Oil, Waste Tyre, Dry Dates, Fertilizers and Iron Scrap. Export: Salt, Onion, Sanitary wares, Cattle Feed, Bentonite, Dry Grass, Suran, Watermelons, Marble Slabs, Mica & Manglore Tiles.

Kandla port is situated in the Kandla Creek and is 90 kms. from the mouth of the Gulf Of Kutch. It is a protected natural harbour.
Facilities & Connectivity
Six Oil jetties. One deep draft mooring & Four Cargo Moorings in the inner Harbour area for stream handling. Loading/Unloading facilities for barges available for stream handling. Seventy licensed private Barges available at competitive rates. Adequate storage capacities in both Dry and Liquid Areas. 66 KV Power supply at the Port. Standby Power to the extent of 2000 KV available for emergency operations. AMA – 3rd January, 2008
