Barlaan at Josaphat  Indiya  Haring Abenir, not Christian, had a kid, Josaphat that was nahulaan to be a Christian.  Abenir didn’t want him to be so he isolated his kid at a palace sa tagong place.  At Senaar, God told Barlaan about Josaphat and went to search for J.  Josaphat became Christian. One on one turned full blown battle  Fierabras was converted  5 pares yung nadakip ng other side (Balan)  Other pares went looking for them pero nadakip din; Floripes helped them all  Ricarte went to inform Carlo na they’re fine, who sent army for battle to free pares  Carlo won. Balan refused to convert (chop head). Floripes converted, married Gui Santiago  Santiago, an apostle, told Carlo to get his body from Moros at Galicia  Pamplona, Galicia, Valende (cursed since walang nagconvert)

Aigolante of Africa  After roaming, pagbalik sa Francia, Carlo found out Aigolante executed Christians.  Initially nagtago pa pero defeated in battle Marsirios (Ronsevalles)  Carlo sent Galalon to tell Marsirios that he and his people gotta convert and pay taxes since sakop sila ni Carlo. Galalon betrayed them  Carlo thought it was safe and sent Pares there. Pares were killed.  Galalon was punished  Carlo spent rest of his life devoted to the Church Tandang Basiong Macunat  Title is narrator  Don Andres Baticot/Cabezang Dales and Donya Maria Dimaniuala have 2 kids, Prospero/Proper and Pili/Felicitas (good)  Parents wanted to send Proper to Manila to study pero tutol si Pili  Sa Manila, Proper turned to sugal, utang, babae  He wasn’t able to help his dad na sa pagsasaka so he died  Proper promised to do better pero nabaon uli sa utang and needed to be punished  Maria tried to get him bailed by selling their stuff pero di kasya  Pinatapon si Proper sa Balabac  Pili grieved, got sick, died
