Luke Brechtelsbauer 5th Hour Literature Throughout my childhood the Harry Potter books have represented the epitome of innocence and the sense of unrepressed wanderlust that is all too absent from today’s society. After reading the first book I remember waiting with a sort of nervous excitement for my very own Hogwart’s acceptance letter written in emerald ink. Nearly ten years later I can still escape into the pages and find a better and often times more hopeful world than the one we occupy.
