Brush removal in Ewing Township is an ongoing process. Below are some guidelines to expedite the removal of yard debris
7.We are not permitted to take grass clippings to our mulch/recycling area. The reason for this is that contractors and some homeowners use chemicals on the lawns. These chemicals can be toxic and hazardous. Please do not leave them at the curb or mix them with the brush.

LEAVING THE GRASS CLIPPINGS ON YOUR LAWN IS BENEFICIAL! NUTRIENTS AND MOISTURE ARE RETURNED TO THE SOIL MAKING YOUR LAWN LUSH AND GREEN!
1.All brush must be put to the curb/ street away from all telephone poles, signs, fire hydrants and gas/water shutoffs 2.All brush should be stacked in a neat pile and cut no longer than 8 feet in length. 3.No other debris should be mixed with the brush including dirt, concrete, trash, and grass clippings. 4.DO NOT pile debris with 10 feet of a storm drain. This may cause blockage and could result in flooding. 5.There is no set schedule for brush. Our crews work neighborhood to neighborhood as quickly as possible. We ask for your patience, as there are 10,501 homes in Ewing. 6.If you have a contractor remove or trim trees, it is their responsibility to take away the debris created by them.
