“Nurturing the God-Hungry Imagination: The Role of Story in Youth Ministry” with Sarah Arthur

While defenders of Christianity attempt to barge through the front door of reason by arguing the case for Christ, the Holy Spirit has been slipping through the back door of the imagination through story. Join Sarah Arthur in exploring what the imagination is and what role it plays in the spiritual formation of youth. How do we as youth leaders nurture the imaginations of our young people through “story-based” teaching and worship? Sarah Arthur is a fun-loving speaker and the author of numerous youth resources, including the bestselling “Walking with Frodo: A Devotional Journey through The Lord of the Rings” and “The GodHungry Imagination: The Art of Storytelling for Postmodern Youth Ministry.” A recent graduate of Duke Divinity School in Durham, North Carolina, she and her husband Tom live in Lansing, MI.
