Rodriguez 2 Rights Association. During the 1872 Presidential Election Susan B. Anthony and with other 37 women tried to vote and mostly of them were able to convince the election inspector. During Susan B. Anthony’s arrest Anthony delivered a one of the greatest speech on the right of women to vote. Susan B. Anthony was released to prevent her from appealing in the court. One of my favorite Susan B. Anthony quote said, “I declare to you that women must not depend upon the protection of man, but must be taught to protect herself and there I take my stand.”. It means that not all women must not depend on every man’s protection all women should stand up on their protection. At the age of 80 Susan B. Anthony resigned as the leader of the National American Woman Suffrage Association and continued to speak at convention. When her death in 1906 came before the women’s right to vote in 1920. In 1970 the United States government honored her life and Susan B. Anthony was the first female to be on American coin. Susan B. Anthony deserve all the credits that she have in other way Susan B.
